Gathered Hole Dress
Coming soon - details of how I made the gathered hole dress from Pattern Magic 1.
I did not speak or write Japanese in any functional way when I made this dress in 2011. Pattern Magic was only published in Japanese at the time, smartphones were not really a thing, and Google Translate definitely did not exist, so I just kind of guessed my way through the pattern. Having just recently been taught how to do my own block, I had some idea of what was going on.
The fabric is linen and lace from Tessuti.
